Provided a smooth wall finish for painting. Skim coat helps repair damaged drywall such as minor cracks, filling a joint, or leveling an existing flat surface.
1. Application
- Using a steel trowel, spread and lay the materials to the required thickness.
 - For skimming works, it shall be applied in 2 layers and each layer shall not be more than 3mm thick.

2. Surface Preparation
- Once the material has been laid, leave to dry. For areas subjected to abnormal droughts, the finished surface should be protected.
 - The substrate must be sound, clean and free from any deleterious materials such as oil stains, old coating, dust, grease etc.
 - Dampen the dry concrete / plastered surface prior to application of Orchid Skim Coat.
 
3. Mixing
